What are the differences between printing modes?

The printing modes are settings that act on different printing parameters like the temperature of printing and cooling and printing speed in order to provide better mechanical resistance to the parts.

The printing mode affects only the mechanical properties of the part except for the "fast" mode that has the same properties of "classic" but with higher printing layers (110μ instead of 80μ available only on Pa12).

These modes don't affect in any case other aspects like tolerances, surface quality, or minimum thickness of the parts.

PA12 PRINTING modes:

  • FAST
    Layer thickness [μ-micron] 110 = +37% layer tickness
    Tensile strenght [MPa] 44
    Elongation at break [%] 12
  • CLASSIC
    Layer thickness [μ-micron] 80
    Tensile strenght [MPa] 44
    Elongation at break [%] 12
  • PERFORMANCE
